Jayd was born in Ventura County which is just North of Los Angeles California. There were two loves he seemed to be born with; his desire to be a firefighter and his love of acting. As time expanded, the goal to become a firefighter became his dominate obsession but always lurking in the background was his love of performing. In middle school, he realized this passion by trying out for parts in community theater which really helped to stoke his passion to act. Acting, however, had to take a back seat because of the intense demands of a budding firefighting career. By the age of 20, his dream came true and Jayd became a member of a full time fire department in Los Angeles. Although he loved the career as a firefighter/paramedic, something was missing. That void was filled after a call from a lifelong friend to play a role in a new pilot for cable TV. The show got picked up and Jayd found himself getting several requests from the production company to play additional roles in several cable "murder reenactment" shows. His next quantum leap came when after 7 years of multiple roles on cable TV, Jayd decided to go all in by auditioning for bigger projects. He hit the ground running and within just a few years had booked roles in movies, television, commercials, soap operas, music videos, video games and sitcoms. Jayd has a wide range of acting experience and has played roles as a Spiritual Elder, father, school principal, police officer, business man, detective, doctor, video game character, religious elder and of course, firefighter. Jayd continues to work consistently. His goal is to continue to explore his various roles and opportunities and is always looking forward to the next project.
