It was during Covid that Diane continued her nursing career full time while also pursuing her training in acting. She retired as a RN in December 2020 as she became more involved as a working actor. Although acting is her first passion, dancing is also close to her heart. Having danced most of her life from age 5 to adult, she has owned and operated five dance / performing arts schools in Atlanta from 1995 to 2006; teaching ballet, modern, jazz, praise and worship dance. Her students, both children and adults have performed to sold out audiences in major musical productions written and produced by Diane. She decided to close down her school in December 2006 to focus more on her acting. When she is not filming, she loves to read and write. In 2005 she started journaling which led to the publication of her first book in 2022 "When Love Is Not Enough". She also volunteers at her local church several times a year, giving back to the community. Although having started her acting career later in life, her objective is to make a mark not only in the entertainment industry but in the lives of everyone she comes in contact with through her acting, writing, dancing and entertaining.
