Jazzy Ellis is a SAG Award-winning stunt actor with over 75 film & TV credits, including Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, HBO's The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, AMC's The Walking Dead, CW's The Vampire Diaries, and HBO's Lovecraft Country. She has stunt doubled for CCH Pounder, Sanaa Lathan, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Madison Bailey, to name a few. With a focus on safety, integrity, and equity, Jazzy's goal has been to level the playing field, add some color to the film industry's grayscale expectations, and shake up the status quo. Jazzy has spent the bulk of her life integrating spaces and bridging new connections. Before "falling into stunts" (pun intended), this Princeton alumna was a high school math and special education teacher, radio show host, pageant queen, professional dancer, and researcher in the Amazon jungle. Her latest focus is on ending the racist, sexist, ableist, and generally discriminatory practices that exist within the film/TV industry. Jazzy has turned her struggles and roadblocks into guidelines for how the marginalized can start and maintain a successful career as a stunt professional. She is a consultant for aspiring and rookie stunt performers. Jazzy also uses her stories of triumph over adversity to inspire ambitious people of all ages, all walks of life, and in all industries to move through their fears to courageously reach their "impossible" goals.
