Sumbul Touqeer is an Indian film and television actress. She completed her education at the NTCC High School in Malad West, Mumbai, India. Touqeer began her career in television as a young performer, appearing in hit television shows like Dance India Dance: Li'l Masters (2010), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Chandragupta Maurya (2018), and Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein (2019) With Article 15 (2019), Touqeer made her Bollywood debut. She gained recognition in 2020 due to her leading role in the Star Plus television series Imlie (2020), in which she played the role of Imlie. She was nominated under the category of Best Actress at the 2022 Bollywood Life - Television Awards for her role in this series. In addition to her acting career, Touqeer is well-known for her involvement in Season 16 of the well-known reality show Bigg Boss in 2022.
